UNH School of Law requires students to have health insurance for financial protection and the assurance of medical care.
The UNH School of Law makes available a student health insurance plan for all full-time students and their eligible dependents.
Although this program is broad in scope, certain limitations are imposed and should be noted. This student health insurance plan has a maximum benefit of $100,000 per policy year. The deductible is $100 per policy year.
Full-time students enrolling in the Fall 2012 are automatically billed $1,600 per semester for the twelve-month term effective September 1, 2012 – August 31, 2013. Time-sensitive action required. Students who have comparable coverage under another policy may have the cost deducted by completing the on-line waiver by August 15, 2012. The online waiver form is found at www.crossagency.com/lawunh, then click on the “Waive Insurance” link on the left. Print out the confirmation for your records as this is the only documentation you will receive that the form was submitted. Students who do not submit the waiver by the August 15, 2012 deadline will be automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan. Refunds will not be available after August 30, 2012.
